West Jakarta has been an under developed part of Jakarta until recently. Many of the larger and Mega clubs are in West JKT because of low rent districts and easy access to central JKT. West Jakarta is a growing area as old parts are re-developed.
The areas know as "Old Town" the former Duch Colonial city and "China Town". These are great day trips.
Colosseum is one of the Mega Clubs in Jakarta. Not the biggest, but one of the larger clubs. Located in the north of the city near Kota Tua and old town.
